Fellows are in years 5-15 of their careers, post-ordination, regardless of age. They are selected in a competitive process. Each cohort is carefully constructed to insure diversity in terms of gender identity, denominational affiliation, region of the country and professional position (e.g. solo leading a congregation; assistant or associate in a congregation; or rabbinic entrepreneur creating a new form of spiritual community).
